We are excited to announce the launch of updated product names, logos, and headers within our user interfaces as part of the CivicPlus® Solution Rebranding initiative. These changes mark the first step toward creating a cohesive and seamless user experience across all solutions in our portfolio. As part of this transition, users may notice minor design updates. While the functionality you rely on remains unchanged, we are in the process of updating screenshots and other resources on our Help Centers to reflect the new branding. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to complete these updates.
Create a Link to a Content Item
Updated:
Instructions
You can now get a link to a content item in CivicEngage Evolve by going to the item’s action menu and choosing Copy Link.
After hitting Copy Link, it will open this dialog:
Open See More Link: Choose to open your content In a Page or In a Dialog
Open in a Different Page: If not checked, it will open in the page you are currently on when you copy the link. If checked it will provide some additional options to select a different existing page for the content to open in, either on the page or in the dialog depending on the configuration.
Copy Link will give you the full URL which should not be used within the site but is perfect for using externally on other websites, in documents, bookmarks, flyers, etc.
Copy Relative Link will give you only the relative URL and should only be used internally within the site. It will not work if posted externally without the context of the site you are on.
You will know your link has been copied to the clipboard when you see this success message:
