This article will show you how to change a Linked Page into a Content Page.
New User Interface Instructions
- Sign in to your website solution
- Navigate to the existing Linked Page
- If needed, click the Try New UI button:
- Navigate to the Live Edit menu:
- Click the Page option:
- Select Versions:
- Click the Add New Version button:
- Fill in the new version's information fields:
- Title (Required): The name or title of the page
- Version Notes (Internal Only): Internally-facing notes specific to the selected version
- Description: An explanation or overview of the page
- Keywords: Words or phrases used to improve the site's search results
- Miscellaneous Tags: Tags added here provide specific data for the page, such as meta tags and/or OData tags
- Image: Select an image to appear in the Pages widget when it's configured for Format 4
- Always Use Page Title for Menu Text: When enabled, the site's Menu Text will automatically match the Page Title
- Linked Page: Leave this field blank to create a Content Page
- Language: The language selected sets the page's HTML language element
- Start Date: The date the version starts displaying
- End Date: The date the version stops displaying
- Click the Add New Version button:
- Select the unpublished version:
Note: Unpublished versions have the draft status. The new UI indicates this with a dark grey pentagon shape. - Click the Publish button:
Old User Interface Instructions
- Sign in to your website solution
- Navigate to the existing Linked Page
- If needed, click the Old UI button:
- Click the Live Edit button to enable it:
Note: When Live Edit is ON, a circular indicator will be next to the pencil icon. - Select the Versions tab:
- Click the Add Version button:
- Fill in the page's Version Options, as needed:

Title (Required): Leave the title the same as the previous version
Note: Changing the Title will change how the page appears in your Menu Text. - Version Notes: Internal-facing notes about this version of the page
- Linked Page: Leave this option disabled to create a Content Page
- Description: A brief explanation of the page. The description field has a limit of 1,000 characters

Keywords: Words and phrases used to improve the site's search results, such as alternate words in the content
- When adding keywords, press Enter to add each word or phrase
- Miscellaneous Tags: Tags added here provide specific data for the page, such as meta tags and/or OData tags
- Page Tags: Tags currently associated with the page
- Image: Select an image to appear in the Pages widget when it's configured for Format 4

Display: Specific dates this version will be displayed to users
- Starting On: The date the version starts displaying
- Stopping On: The date the version stops displaying

Title (Required): Leave the title the same as the previous version
- Click the Create New Version button:
- Navigate back to the Versions tab:
- Click the Actions menu next to the unpublished Linked page:
Note: Unpublished versions will have the Draft status. - Select the Publish action:
