We are excited to announce the launch of updated product names, logos, and headers within our user interfaces as part of the CivicPlus® Solution Rebranding initiative. Reorder Items in a Stacked Widget

System Administrators | Owners | Publishers | Authors

 

Important Note

Authors can make edits to draft pages and submit changes to published pages.

New UI Instructions

 

  1. Sign in to your website solution
  2. Ensure that you are using the New UI (click the Try New UI button if you are not) and navigate to your desired page:
    The button labeled Try New UI in the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Click inside the widget area of the Stacked widget you would like to reorder, which will open the Widget Options:
    The text area inside the Stacked widget.
  4. In the Widget Options, drag and drop the widget items to reorder them as desired:
    The list of items under the Widget Items header.
  5. Click the Save Changes button:
    The floppy disc save icon in the top-right corner of the page, to the right of the Old UI button.

Old UI Instructions

  1. Sign in to your website solution
  2. Navigate to the page containing the stacked widget you want to reorder the contents of
  3. Ensure that the Live Edit state is toggled to ON (simply click the button to change the state) and navigate to your page:
    The pencil icon in the top-left corner of the page, to the right of the logo, Homepage and Dashboard buttons.
  4. Click inside the widget area of the Stacked widget you would like to reorder:
    The text area of the Stacked widget.
  5. Drag and drop the elements in the Content Options to reorder them as desired:
    The content items under the Widget Items header.
  6. Select a saving option:
    The Save, Save and Publish, and Save as Copy buttons.
    • Save: Will save your work without publishing
    • Save and Publish: Will save and publish (Draft Pages only)
    • Save as Copy: Will save as a unique draft/version
    • Cancel: Will cancel the changes made
