You can set rights at the pages menu in order to allow you to both set rights for one page but also allow you to push rights down to all subpages.
Important Note
- Default permissions on a page inherit from the available parent page.
- Select Try New UI
- Navigate to the page you wish to set permissions for
- Select Page > Permissions
- Configure group permissions for the page
- Reader: View access only
- Note: If the Reader tab appears greyed out and you are not able to check or un-check, that is because the page itself does not have Sign-In required or is otherwise not password protected. The reader is always available on any page that is not password protected.
- Author: Ability to create and edit items, but cannot publish
- Publisher: Create, edit, and publish items
- Owner: Full rights to the page
- Reader: View access only
- Changes will automatically save
- Navigate to the page you wish to set rights for
- Ensure that Live Edit is On
- Select the Properties tab
- Select the Permissions tab
- Select the groups you want to have access to this page
- Reader: View access only
