Use Wildcards in Redirects

The Redirects module gives you the ability to set up a Wildcard redirect.

 

For instance, if you want to create a redirect that links to your Contests page, you could set it up with the * (asterisk) symbol to create a wildcard.

  • Type /contest* into the Link From field. Anytime someone types /contest, /contests, /contestinfo, etc., it always redirects to the desired URL.

This is also an effective approach if you want your redirect to be two words. Instead of multiple redirects, you can always incorporate a wildcard in one redirect to ensure the user routes to the right place in the most efficient way possible.
