Overview
This article will provide a solution if you cannot view your editing capabilities on a page, even though you have Author (or above) permission.
Resolution
If a link contains an absolute URL and the domain in the link does not match the domain you have used to log into the site, clicking the link will make it seem like you are logged out of the site. In order to fix this issue, we recommend that you use Relative URLs (for example, /689/Reserve-a-Room) for all internal links.
Examples
- Use the relative link (/790/WiFi-Hotspot-Policy) instead of the absolute link (https://cityofsafetyharbor.com/790/WiFi-Hotspot-Policy)
- Use the relative link (/748/Room-Reservations) instead of the absolute link (https://cityofsafetyharbor.com/748/Room-Reservations)
- Use the relative link (/689/Reserve-a-Room) instead of the absolute link (https://cityofsafetyharbor.com/689/Reserve-a-Room
