Embed Your CivicReady Site onto Your CivicEngage Site

Overview 

This article will show you how to embed your CivicReady site into your CivicEngage site.

 

Instructions 

  1. Know your codename for CivicReady
    • http://codename.regroup.com, i.e. http://st-city.regroup.com
  2. Choose the embed code you would like to utilize
  3. Replace your codename with the appropriate placeholders
    • https://codedname.regroup.com/networks/codedname/full_embed_3 changes to https://ks-civiccity.regroup.com/networks/ks-civiccity/full_embed_3
  4. Create an iframe code with your URL
    • <iframe src="URL" width="100%" height="850px;"></iframe>
    • Example: <iframe src="https://ks-civiccity.regroup.com/networks/ks-civiccity/full_embed_3" width="100%" height="850px;"></iframe>
  5. Copy the iframe code
  6. Go to your CivicEngage site
  7. Go to the page you would like the embed to show on
  8. Ensure Live Edit is On

  9. Click View all widgets

  10. Drag the Custom HTML widget onto your page

  11. Paste the iframe code into the Custom HTML widget

  12. Select Done

  13. Save your page
