This article will show you how to create a Slideshow widget. This widget format allows you to display a slideshow of assets on your page.
Instructions
- Sign in to your site
- If needed, click Try New UI
- Navigate to your desired page and select the content you want to add
- Drag and drop the content onto your page
- Select Slideshow
- Expand the Content Appearance menu and configure the options
- Widget Skin: Select a widget design skin
- Limit the size of descriptions: Limit the size of the content description

Content Type: Select the type of content
- Activities
- Agendas & Minutes
- Alerts
- Animal
- Article
- Bid Posting
- Slideshow Format

Show Labels: Check the box to show the labels for each section
- Title
- Secondary
- Body
- Hide Loading Placeholders: Do not display placeholder items while the widget is loading.

Expand the Options menu and configure the options
- Header: Add header text

See More
- Link Title to Item Details
- Include a See More link below the item: Displays all content for a given item. Links will only appear if more content is available to view
- Customize Text: Add custom text to the slideshow
- Open See More Link: Select how the See More information should display
- Open In a DIfferent Page: Mark to open the link on a different page

Slideshow Options

Navigation:
- Transition Automatically: Choose Auto or Manual
- Slide Timing: Add a timing in seconds (for auto only)
- Pause Button Location: Choose to have the pause button show on the right, left, or center of the player
- Randomize: Display slides in random order
- Include Dots for Navigation: Display dots for pagination links

Transitions:
- Transition Style: Choose Fade or Slide
- Direction (Slide only): Choose a horizontal or vertical slide
- Transition Timing: Add a timing in seconds
- Easing: Easing helps manage the feel of the transition by altering the speed of change at different points across its duration

Advanced:
- Add dimensions in pixels for Min-Height, Min-Width, Max-Height, Max-Width, and the Breakpoint
- Breakpoint: Width at which the widget will switch from narrow to wide view. The Minimum and Maximum options are responsive.
