Add a Pages Widget to Your Page

Overview  

The Pages Widget lists all of a page's subpages, typically used for pages that are more categorizations of the subpages rather than pages with content.  



There are four formats for the Pages Widget that you select in Widget options:

  • List of pages, their descriptions, and a link to the page
  • Linked page titles and their descriptions
  • Linked page titles
  • Linked page titles, descriptions, and an image

 

The Pages Widget will automatically update if you add additional subpages, change a page title, or change the description.

 

New UI Instructions

  1. Click Try New UI

  2. Navigate to your desired page
  3. Click Widgets

  4. Drag and drop the Pages widget onto the page

  6. Click the X to close the pop-up

    • Note: Settings will save automatically
  7. Click Save or Publish

Instructions

  1. Navigate to your desired page
  2. Ensure that Live Edit Is On

  3. Click View all widgets in the Content tab

  4. Drag-and-drop the Pages widget onto your page

  5. Configure settings in the Widget Options menu that pops up
    Fill out widget options
    • Skin: Type of page menu
    • Heading: Title of widget
    • Format
      • Format 1: Shows the parent page name and description, while all child pages will just include the name and a link to that page
      • Format 2: Show the parent and child page titles and descriptions for both
      • Format 3: Shows the page titles for both the parent page and child pages
      • Format 4: Shows parent page and child page names, includes an image along with each parent page section
    • Columns: How many columns you want in the menu
    • Depth: How many levels of navigation you want to display
      • Depth One: Shows just the parent page
      • Depth Two: Shows parent page and 2nd level child pages
    • Advanced
      • Width breakpoint: Width at which this widget will switch from "narrow" to "wide" view (e.g. vertically stacked columns will be positioned horizontally, thumbnails position themselves beside text instead of above)
  6. Click the X to exit the pop-up; will save automatically
