Auto-Adjust Columns

Authors must submit any changes.

 

This article will show you how to enable Auto-Adjust Columns for items in a Stacked Widget. When you enable Auto-Adjust Columns, the Widget in |the cotainer will automatically align items within a number of columns you can set.

 

New UI Instructions

  1. Click Try New UIThe button labeled Try New UI in the top-right corner of the page.
  2. Navigate to the page you wish to edit
  3. Click ContentThe Content button in the vertical left-hand menu.
  4. Locate and select content The checkbox toggles for content, to the left of the content name.
  5. Drag and drop the content The content dragged and dropped onto the page.
  6. Expand the Widget Format menu and select StackedThe tab labeled Widget Format, and the button labeled Stacked.
  7. Expand the Content Appearance menu The tab labeled Content Appearance.
  8. Check Auto-Adjust Columns and select the Number of ColumnsThe checkbox toggle labeled Auto-Adjust Columns, and the Number of Columns dropdown.
  9. Click Save or PublishThe floppy disc icon, and the upward pointing arrow.

 

Old UI Instructions

 

  1. Navigate to the page you want to edit
  2. Ensure that Live Edit is OnThe pencil live edit icon.
  3. Locate and select items The content cards in the left-hand menu.
  4. Drag and drop items onto your page The content dragged and dropped onto the page.
  5. Select the Stacked Widget FormatThe dropdown labeled Widget Format, and the Stacked option selected.
  6. Turn on Auto-Adjust ColumnsThe checkbox toggle labeled Auto-Adjust Columns.
  7. Select a maximum Number of ColumnsThe dropdown menu labeled Number of Columns.
  8. View the items in the widget and drag-and-drop images within the same column to your desired order
  9. Click Save at the top of the page The button labeled Save in the top-right corner of the page.
